Cross Country takes place in the fall (September-early November).
Basketball takes place in the winter (November-February).
Track and Field takes place in the Spring (March-May).
What You Can Expect
- Cross Country and Track and Field will practice on a nearby field. Location will be announced at the beginning of each season. Practices are usually held twice a week.
- All basketball team practices will be held at the SRLA gym.
- Home basketball games will be held in the SRLA gym. Away games are held at area Catholic Schools. Addresses for away games are available on the Games Location page.
- Cross Country and Track and Field meets are held at fields around the area. Information will provided at the beginning of each season.
- Cross Country and Track and Field uniform tops will be provided to registered athletes. The cost of the shirts is included in the registration fee.
- Varsity, JV and JV4 basketball teams will purchase uniforms which can be used for multiple seasons. Information abut uniform orders will be provided after registration is complete.
- Every effort will be made to provide fair play to each athlete. Fair play rules vary by grade level based on the rules established by the Morris County Catholic Basketball League (MCCB League).
Coaches and Volunteers Needed
The success of our program depends on the help from parents. We are always in need of coaches and volunteers to ensure our programs run smoothly. Volunteers are needed at games to help keep the scorebook and run the clock (don't worry -- training is provided). We also need volunteers to help run the Thanksgiving Tournament as well as on the Sports Committee to help with various operational tasks (order and manage uniforms, order and manage Spirit Wear, run the website, etc) If you can help in any way, please contact Don Lisco
